False ceilings & lighting that set the mood.

Ceilings and light that change how a room feels. Designed in 3D, quoted item by item, and delivered by one in-house team in Bangalore.

An open-plan living room with a layered false ceiling and a sculptural chandelier

Lighting changes how a room feels more than almost anything else. A well-planned false ceiling hides beams, wiring and AC ducts, adds depth, and carries layers of light that move a room from bright and practical to warm and relaxed. As false ceiling designers in Bangalore, we design the ceiling and the lighting together, room by room.

We start with how each room is used: where you read, where you cook, where you watch a film and where you entertain. Then we plan ambient, task and accent lighting, choose colour temperatures, place switches where you will actually reach for them, and design ceilings that suit the room's height and style — never so heavy that they make a room feel lower.

Options

Ceiling and lighting options

Minimal peripheral ceilings

A slim drop around the edges of the room with hidden cove lighting — clean, modern and ideal for standard apartment ceiling heights.

Feature ceilings

Coffered, layered or wooden-slat ceilings over the living or dining area to define a zone and add character.

Profile & linear lights

Recessed aluminium profiles create crisp lines of light in ceilings and walls, for a contemporary look.

Accent lighting

Spotlights on art, wall washers on textured walls and under-cabinet strips in kitchens bring depth and focus.

Colour temperature

Warm white for bedrooms and living areas, neutral white for kitchens and study corners, and dimmers where mood matters.

Practical integration

Concealed curtain tracks, AC ducting, fan hooks and access panels planned in from the start.

FAQ

False Ceiling & Lighting: your questions.

Is a false ceiling necessary in an apartment?
Not always. Many modern apartments only need a slim peripheral ceiling or none at all. We recommend a false ceiling where it helps — to hide beams or ducts, add cove lighting or define a zone — and keep ceilings minimal where height is limited.
Gypsum or POP: which false ceiling is better?
Gypsum boards are faster to install and give a smooth, consistent finish, which is why they are widely used today. POP allows more freeform detailing. We suggest the right option for each design.
What lighting colour is best for a home?
Warm white (around 2700K–3000K) suits bedrooms and living areas, while neutral white (around 4000K) works well in kitchens and study areas. Layering both with dimmers gives the most flexibility.
Can you redo lighting without changing the ceiling?
Often, yes. Track lights, wall lights, profile lights and floor lamps can transform a room with little or no ceiling work.
